It is funny how much the Yes camp lately has been trying to say the Concerned Citizens of Lakeland have been censoring them. What is funny is that they do it on the ONE place they don't control the conversation - the CCL facebook page where supposedly we censor them.

“The Only Thing Necessary for the Triumph of Evil is that Good Men Do Nothing” -unknown
I moved to Lakeland about 6 years ago. About a year in I was introduced to the CCL. It has been a roller coaster ride for me and them. Sometimes I am on the ride and sometimes I am not.
I moved to Lakeland hoping for the best and expecting it. It is an awesome community but (like most) has some issues. I have seen and been through a lot since moving here. Quite a bit of it has been unfair and politically motivated. I can deal with it and have but I don’t want it to continue and I want to protect others.
I like a lot of CCL people have been targeted and threatened for my SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT political beliefs. Right now, I am fine with building a High School, after we get in commercial growth to support it. Is that so radically different than the beliefs of “Yes” people? Is it so radical that our local politicians and others should try to character assassinate me and others?
I have recorded a series of videos that I will be releasing and I will be telling my story. I know what will happen as a result of this. I will be targeted more. I am sure our local politicians will continue to lead this attack. The CCL cannot stop these attacks. The people that ARE NOT CCL can. Do not participate in them. You will be encouraged to do so. The only people that can hold a group of people accountable are in the group itself, not outside the group. If you are a good person you will put a stop to this.
I want to encourage others to come forward and tell your story. It doesn’t have to be on video unless you would like. Please contact me if you feel you have been unfairly targeted, slandered, attacked, misrepresented etc. The more people that come forward with their stories the less power these politicians have.
The videos can be found here - WATCH WITH AN OPEN MIND

Taking videos and chopping them up to show you what people have said is interesting and I guess we will now follow suit.

The Board of Commissioners contracted PFM to advise them on the proposed $50,000,000 school bond. PFM has a PowerPoint presentation on the Lakeland School website showing we can easily afford this massive debt. Ever wonder who was ultimately in charge of the yes vote campaign?
Click read more and you can listen to him tell you!
Did you know that Lakeland is the ONLY local city that has no limit on debt? Read here to see how the other communities limit their debt to protect the citizens from financial disaster and how our Board of Commissioners is violating all the rules. Click Read More below for more details.
Matt Wright, former head of the 'Vote Yes' campaign, school board member and non-stop social media poster has stepped in it again. He attacked someone for questioning the huge difference between Alcoa school system and Lakeland. Alcoa was questioned because the school board devotes almost 17% of its entire Lakeland Prep presentation to slide talking Alcoa and Greeneville Community Schools, trying to convince everyone we can have what they have for much lower costs. Here we demonstrate that Matt doesn't know what he is talking about.
Recently, the proponents of this massive bond have started saying we have plenty of 'cash reserves' that prove we can afford it.
Get the real story and to see how this is just more disinformation from the 'Yes' camp! By clicking Read More below.
We have recently discovered a huge conflict of interest with the financial firm (PFM) whjo was advising the city.
We already know PFM didn't do their own math. We just discovered we also paid them to not do it. Click Read More below.

Neither the city manager, recorder, city judge, chief of police nor any person in the employ of the city, under any of such officers, shall take any active part in or contribute any money towards the nomination or election of any candidate for election to the board of commissioners, except to answer such questions as may be put to them and as they desire to answer.
(b) A violation of this section shall subject the offenders to removal from office or employment and to punish by fine not more than fifty dollars ($50.00) for each offense. [Acts 1921, ch173, art. 22, §3; Shan. Supp., § 1997a246; Code 1932, § 3644; T.C.A. (orig. ed.) § 6-2106.]
Don't worry though they aren't all doing it.
ONLY THREE OF THEM ARE
In a recent advertisement in the Lakeland Currents, the “Vote Yes Lakeland” group made the following claim:
This claim seems to be implying that the cause for the apparently skyrocketing home sales in the month of November was the announcement of "Lakeland Prep." Did home sales actually increase? If so, was this caused by the “Lakeland Prep” announcement?
To infer that the increase in homes that closed in November was caused by a “Lakeland Prep” announcement is clearly an example of flawed reasoning, particularly given the delay between the initial offer and the close of the home sale. This is a great example of cherry-picking obscure data to spin a particular, highly-biased viewpoint. But, don’t take our word for it. To find out why, go to Read More... We have given you all of the tools that you need. Look at the actual data, and then decide for yourself.
The Pro-Build-Now group have made many statements regarding the tax issues surrounding this bond proposal. Here we review them and provide factual counterpoints that come to a different conclusion. The difference is we use hard data and show our reference materials where they just ask you to trust them.
